I am the founder and academic designer for iSPEAK Language Learning Program; the first and only indigenous language learning program focused on teaching children between ages 3 and 14 indigenous languages. I have partnered with other Africans from Ethiopia and the United States to form this program. Together we empower continental Africans with work and training to be advocates, educators, and cultural amb****adors for their indigenous language. The goal is to reduce linguistic moribundity and to promote, expand, and modernize indigenous languages.
Outside of this work, I am a birth ****istant and lactation counselor. I advocate healthy births and the natural progression of the pregnancy.
I am a children's book author {Ty and the Moon}, homeschool curriculum designer, and consultant, and a homeschooling mother of 4 beautiful children. I have two older and amazingly bright children who attend University in science fields. I am a wife to an amazing husband.
My desire in life is to become a quiet influence that encourages the next generations to seek knowledge diligently. I am for the upliftment and unification of Africans so that we can reclaim our rightful place in this planet as Creators, Builders, Thinkers, and Solvers of Problems. We can only do this through the development and strengthening of culture in our youth, by reevaluating our condition, and by beginning to first love ourselves.
