In light of the recent global protests against racism, calls to #DefundThePolice and the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic, one question has been repeatedly asked:

“How can the Black community create sustainable change for ourselves?”

The first discussion we hosted focused on why it is important for our community to focus on sustainable change.

For part two, this panel will look at the intersections of healing and institution building. Institutions are reflections of the people that build them. We will focus on the ways that healing can positively impact the development of Black institutions.

⁣The album Sorrow Tears And Blood is the first release on Baba Fẹlá’s newly formed label, Kalakuta Records. The title track was written in response to the South African government’s murderous reaction to the Soweto uprising of 1976 but the sleeve carries a dedication to the victims of the attack on Kalakuta

My only regret was not trying it sooner. One of the fastest dishes I've made. Try it as a fish alternative. Yummy!

This is recipe that I definitely have to perfect, however I felt it was still worthy of sharing. Loaded with veggies and full of flavor. Quick, easy, and tasty!!

Left overs were used as veggie burgers!! Children loved them...mission accomplished!!
