Ghana is opening its doors for Afrikans of the Diaspora in the US to relocate to the West African country. It comes after the murder of George Floyd sparked protests against racism and police brutality in the US. Last year, the Ghanaian government marked the 400th anniversary of the transatlantic slave trade with “The Year of Return”- a project that saw hundreds of tourists of the Afrikan diaspora visiting Ghana. As CGTN’s Nabil Ahmed Rufai reports, the government is stretching a welcoming hand to people of Afrikan descent again- urging them to come to Ghana to escape racial injustice.

Here we discuss the importance of developing Afrikan-centered relationships to build healthy and functional Afrikan families. Just another contribution in the mission to reclaim our land, labor, and culture.
