⁣Swakopmund is a very popular Namibian seaside resort but very few people talk about the history of this city. It was founded as the main harbour for Germany in South West Africa. It was here that the first concentration camps emerged. According to statistics, approximately 40 percent of the prisoners in Swakopmund died during their first four months of captivity, and any prisoner who was brought to the camp was likely to be dead within ten months.
The genocide in Namibia that took place between 1904 and 1908, was one of the darkest chapters in German history. The colonial forces systematically exterminated thousands of Herero and Nama people through mass killings, forced labour, and captivity in concentration camps.
The wounds of the past are still deep. ‘Genocide is not history, but the reality of our lives. The land we have lost then has not been returned,’ says Nandiuasora Mazeingo, President of the Herero Genocide Fund. The scars of the German genocide continue to shape the lives of Namibia's people. Will they be able to get justice?

⁣This video relies on the Kongo religion, Bukôngo, and on the
demonstrated scientific nature of this trend of African traditional religion to
explain the unity that exists between the concept of religion as knowledge and
the concept of spirituality as a practice. In the light of Bukôngo and its
natural systematic theology, the kemetic cosmological argument, it is proven
that these two concepts need not to be at loggerhead, they are rather
inseparable in their contribution to the elevation of the Black nation as a
whole.

Top Chinese scientists at US companies and universities are resigning their posts and returning to China. According to the Wall Street Journal, 40% of faculty of Chinese descent are also strongly considering a return.

This is after decades of work at the top universities and companies in the United States, and even includes naturalized citizens with American children. In interviews, they point to US government persecution, anti-Asian racism, and better career and economic prospects in China. What's more, Chinese universities have eclipsed top US unis in terms of research, and Chinese students are opting instead to finish graduate studies in Chinese universities, rather than abroad.
