The racial and geographical origins of the ancient Egyptians have been a mystery since Champollion deciphered the hieroglyphs in 1822. The prevailing consensus is that the ancient Egyptian civilisation was home-grown on the Nile Valley. But new discoveries in the Egyptian Sahara will challenge this consensus, and show that the origins of the pharaohs hark back several thousands of years before the foundation of the dynastic period (c.3000 BC) and, furthermore, that the first 'Egyptians' were from a black Sub-Saharan race coming from the Tibesti mountains in northern Chad some 12,500 years ago. The oldest known 'astronomical' megaliths in the world, those of of Nabta Playa are examined in this presentation.Born in Egypt in 1948, Robert Bauval, bestselling author of The Orion Mystery (1994), Keeper of Genesis (1996) and three books with best-selling author Graham Hancock (The Message of the Sphinx, Talisman, and The Mars Mystery), presents evidence published in the book, Black Genesis, (co-authored with US physicist Thomas Brophy). http://www.robertbauval.co.ukFilmed at WCCSG Conference, August 2011, Wiltshire by Hugh Newman & Jonathan Adams.Copyright Megalithomania/Pentos TV 2011. This is the fourth lecture in the series "AI and Data Science for COVID-19 Data" lecture series by the Qatar Center for Artificial Intelligence.

Epidemiological models are compartmental models that simulate the evolution of infectious disease outbreaks. The results of an epidemic simulation strictly depend on the model’s parameters; biological and others related to demographics and lifestyle.

This lecture will introduce the simplest compartmental models. It will also show how it is possible to extend the traditional SIR model, with the final aim of simulating outbreak scenarios under different policies and country’s specifics.

The Archaic Humans of West Afrika

The video challenges the idea that modern West Africans primarily descend from ancient West Africans, pointing to the Ogolian hyper-arid period and dominance by archaic humans. Despite the existence of "ghost archaic DNA," modern West Africans trace their ancestry to the Shum Laka culture, not the archaic humans. Recent studies by Arun Durvasula and Sriram Sankararaman suggest introgression by an unidentified archaic hominin, contributing 2 to 19% of present-day Africans' ancestry. Specific genes with high archaic segment frequencies prompt the need for further analysis of modern and ancient African genomes. Despite attempts to misinterpret data for racist agendas, Marc Lipson et al.'s findings indicate modern West Africans derive 2% from archaic humans, 10% from the first Homo Sapien Sapiens in Africa, and 88% from a Hapi River Valley continuum.

OLATUNJI - "SHE TEMPO" (Official Visualizer)

Produced by Shot Master J

Following the heartfelt patriotism of his first release for the season, "TLY (Trinidad Loves You)", Olatunji Yearwood returns with his second offering "She Tempo", a vibrant, soulful ode to the heartbeat of his career: soca music.
Inspired by the smooth charm of the late Baron, "She Tempo" fuses vintage calypso sweetness with modern Carnival power.
Olatunji personifies soca as a woman, seductive, playful, and powerful taking listeners on a rhythmic love affair full of passion and truth.
With lines like "She hit me front, I hit she back and we whining low", Olatunji captures the essence of the dance floor and the deeper
connection between an artist and his art form.
The song reflects the highs and lows of his journey in the soca industry, celebrating resilience, creativity, and devotion to the culture that raised him.
