In 2006 Robin Walker published the instant classic "When We Ruled" - The most comprehensive text on Afrikan History we have to date.
This made him among the first a prime candidate for our first Black History Month NOMMO in October 2007:
"In this "Afrikan History Month" special, Nommo are proud to welcome one of the world's leading historians, author of one of the most important books of our time - Bro. Robin Walker. He will guide us on an imperious journey of Afrikan glory - WHEN WE RULED! Studying this sweep of history provides the necessary framework to realise that we can and must rule again."

THE NOMMO SESSIONS
NOMMO is the, monthly interactive session for the Afrikan community, presented by the Alkebu-Lan Revivalist Movement. On the last Friday of every month, you can rap, reason and re-energise with like-minded Sisters and Brothers through film, music and the spoken word in its many forms.
NOMMO can be thought, NOMMO can be played on an instrument, NOMMO can be sung. It is prayer. It is curse. It is incantation! NOMMO is a praise song. NOMMO is our use of the spiritually activating principle. NOMMO is will and intent. NOMMO is consciousness.”

Full Title: Electronic Waste Dumping in Africa
Presenters: Lauren Johnson
Advised by: Steven Frysinger
Abstract: European countries such as Germany, Norway, and the UK along with the United States, China and Japan are creating more electronic waste than ever before. When electronics break or are replaced with a newer model, they are shipped by E-waste recycling companies to Africa and resold in markets at a discounted price. Unfortunately, many of the products arrive broken beyond repair and must be discarded. The electronics end up in countries like Agbogbloshie in Accra, Ghana where huge dumps of e-waste accumulate. The e-waste dumps are then scavenged by locals who hope to make money from the precious metals contained within the electronics. Sadly, this electronic waste is accompanied by a number of health and environmental problems due to the toxic chemicals present in many of the devices. The research conducted regarding electronic waste dumping in Africa involves analyzing current legislation dealing with the import and export of electronic waste as well as a life cycle analysis of electronics. It will be used to determine what steps can be taken to remediate electronic waste sites and prevent future electronic waste dumps.

-Malcolm X on Jesus Christ
-Who Taught You To Hate Yourself?
Malcolm X was one of the greatest leaders in the history. Malcolm X founded the Organization of Afro-American Unity, to fight for the Civil Rights of the Black Americans. He had the gift to articulate his messages in such a way that he grabs the crowd attention from the first till the last minute of the speech.
In this speech on May 1962, Malcolm X talk about Jesus Christ. He tells how Jesus would be in the side of Black Americans if he was alive. Jesus that always came in defense of the most oppressed.
Malcolm X talked also about in this speech about the police brutality in the Black community in1962.
This Malcolm X teaching cover an interesting subject that is the lesson about: "Who teach you to hate yoursel?". When you hate what is in yourself you will hate also what is in your brother. When you start loving yourself you will love your brother also. I this way Malcolm X teaches how it's possible to strength each member of the Black community and don't let it be divided by anything.
What we need now us Black People is power to control everything we can. Watch different views around the globe. come 2025 Abibitumi comes back again.

Diébédo Francis Kéré, Architect from Burkina Faso, studied at the „Technische Universität Berlin". He focuses on education as the developing concept for his country, in which he has already built an essential infrastructure. In the focus of Kéré's drafts are the climatic adaptation, low building costs and the self building: "The community needs to be educated how to monitor the climatic circumstances and to use local materials. Only people who take part in the building process can maintain and spread the word about these architectural projects." (1)While he was studying, he founded the association "Schulbausteine für Gando e. V." for the funding of his first project, a Primary School in his native village. The building was finished in 2001 and received the Aga -- Khan -- Award for its exemplarity as well as its concise and elegant architecture using basic, constructive instruments. The school is the result of a vision, initially verbalized by the architect and realised by the community. The jury valued especially the great potential of a project which helps the community to develop a healthy pride and hope and creates at the same time a solid base for its development. The fact that Kéré built a Primary School for Gando exemplifies his commitment for education. To him, education is the foundation for every social, technical and economical development.Meanwhile the Primary School was completed with the Teachers Housing, another school building and a library, so that 900 children can go to school in Gando. Many young men were trained through construction and are now able to find qualified paied work far beyond the region. Diébédo Francis Kéré connects research and experience as a lecturer at the "Technische Universität Berlin" and as an architect in his own office. His research is contributed to the impartial development of strategies for architecture with local character. As an architect he defines himself as "a bridge between cultures, between the technically and economically developed countries of "the north" and the less developed African countries (the south)" (2)(Excerpt from biographical materials provided by the architect.) While the Israeli state espouses multiculturalism and diversity, it oppresses not just the Palestinian population, but also any Black person within its borders.
From warehousing African asylum seekers in giant prison camps, to criminalizing and carrying out eugenics programs against its Ethiopian Jewish citizens, Israel’s treatment of Black people reveals that the Zionist project is not just about Jewish supremacy, but also white supremacy.
In this on-the-ground investigation, Abby Martin talks to Osman Ali, a refugee from Darfur, at Holot prison camp about the treatment of refugees by the government, and Tehune Maharat, an Ethiopian Jewish activist whose cousin was killed in an apparent hate crime by Israeli police, about the rampant and institutional racism in the country.
