He argued that Nigeria’s core governance structure has failed ordinary citizens, questioned the independence of INEC and the judiciary, and claimed the 2027 race is being prepared as a “coronation” rather than a free contest. Farotimi also spoke on poverty, rule of law, ethnic divisions, failed institutions and why many Nigerians feel excluded from the democratic process.
