⁣Kirango is an old village on the banks of the Niger river, 35 km from Ségou. The village is inhabited by Bamana (farmers) and Bozo/Somono (fishermen). Both ethnic groups celebrate their masquerades, each in their own way.

The masquerade of the Bamana ('sogo bò' - the animal comes out) is organized by the 'ton' (youth association) every jear, in June. It comprises ‘sogow’ (animals): masks and large puppets that represent spirits, animals (domestic, wild, or mythical), and human personages.

They are accompanied by drumming, singing and dancing.

When will African countries learn to support each other? When will African countries desist and reject colonial influences and embrace true Pan-Africanism? Honestly speaking, the situation is pathetic. We all know that Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso have rejected the West-backed regional bloc, ECOWAS, and formed another bloc that reflects true Independence. However, there are some African countries that have refused to accept their decision. These countries which the report has shown are puppets of France have refused to accept the decision of the three countries. These countries are none other than Ivory Coast and Gabon. Interestingly, the President of Ivory Coast who has proven himself to be a nemesis of true African Independence has employed the new President of Ghana in his scheme to persuade the three Sahel countries to return to the regional bloc. The Ghanaian President has however opted to take a different approach. But how did it all play out? Let's find out. A few days ago, the new President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama paid a visit to Abidjan Ivory Coast, as part of his regional visit. There, he met with the President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara. During the discussion, both Presidents spoke on several topics including defence, security, and the cocoa economy. Recall that both Ivory Coast and Ghana are among the leading producers of cocoa in the world. But among the topics of discussion was the issue of the withdrawal of Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso from the regional bloc, ECOWAS.

In the late eighteenth century, the French colony of Saint Domingue teetered on an unstable social pyramid. At the top of the hierarchy were wealthy white plantation owners who enslaved the vast majority of the island’s population: hundreds of thousands of enslaved Africans and their descendants. New ideas about natural rights swirled around the Atlantic world and reached the people of Saint Domingue—including enslaved people—and helped launch the most radical of the Atlantic revolutions. But the fight didn’t end with independence, as the new nation of Haiti continued to struggle for its survival and the end of slavery.

The Marimba and music Currulao from the Kmtyu of the Pacific Coast of colombia meets with the ancestral homeland of Senegal and the ancestral Balafon. In our studies, the Kmtyu of the Pacific Coast have theorized the Marimba is a descendant of the Balafon, and was reconstructed in the Choco rainforest when our ancestors were trafficked there. We also have a large ancestry from the ancient Mali empire in our Abibiman genepool, to include Senegambia. ⁣The marimba player is Hugo Candelario, from Guapi, Cauca, and one of the country's best marimba players.

The real story of Judas and the Black Messiah.
Shared for historical purposes. I do not own the rights.
----
Fredrick Allen Hampton (August 30, 1948 – December 4, 1969) was a black activist and revolutionary socialist. He came to prominence in Chicago as chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party (BPP), and deputy chairman of the national BPP. In this capacity, he founded the Rainbow Coalition, a prominent multicultural political organization that initially included the Black Panthers, Young Patriots, and the Young Lords, and an alliance among major Chicago street gangs to help them end infighting and work for social change.

In 1967, Hampton was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a radical threat. The FBI tried to subvert his activities in Chicago, sowing disinformation among black progressive groups and placing a counterintelligence operative in the local Panthers. In December 1969, Hampton was shot and killed in his bed during a predawn raid at his Chicago apartment by a tactical unit of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in conjunction with the Chicago Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation; during the raid, Panther Mark Clark was also killed and several others were seriously wounded. In January 1970, a coroner's jury held an inquest and ruled the deaths of Hampton and Clark to be justifiable homicide.

A civil lawsuit was later filed on behalf of the survivors and the relatives of Hampton and Clark. It was resolved in 1982 by a settlement of $1.85 million; the City of Chicago, Cook County, and the federal government each paid one-third to a group of nine plaintiffs. Given revelations about the illegal COINTELPRO program and documents associated with the killings, many scholars now consider Hampton's death an assassination under the FBI's initiative.

Last week’s show proved that the Twa are the Mothers and Fathers of Humanity and World Civilization. In Part II of this series, historical proof will be presented showing that the Twa also known as the Anu people, were the founders of Egyptian or Kemetic Civilization. The Twa or Anu, created all of the elements of Kemetic Civilization prior to the First Dynasty in 3200 BC. By African people knowing their historical greatness yesterday, we will know what great things we can achieve today and tomorrow.

What does it really mean for Ghana to welcome the historic diaspora home?In this powerful town hall discussion, speakers address the urgent need to remove the financial and bureaucratic barriers standing in the way of citizenship and repatriation, including the GHS 25,000 processing fee, DNA testing requirements, and the lack of direct historic diaspora representation in decision-making spaces. The conversation goes beyond policy to deal with dignity, self-respect, self-repair, and the deeper question of what it means for Black people to reconnect, rebuild, and reclaim place, purpose, and pride. This video explores:• the call to scrap costly and tedious citizenship requirements• why return should not be treated as a privilege only for those who can afford it• the importance of representation for the historic diaspora in national policy• reparations, self-repair, and practical steps toward healing and reconnection• how Ghana can move from symbolic statements to concrete actionThis is not just about economics. It is about restoring dignity, removing obstacles, and creating real pathways home.Watch, share, and join the conversation.#ghana #diaspora #citizenship #repatriation #blackpower #historicdiaspora #returnhome #reparations #selfrepair #abibitumi
