Sylvia Kuria is an organic farmer based in Nairobi, Kenya. When she set out to grow all her familyтАЩs produce, she decided to go against local advice to spray her land with harmful pesticides. Her small-scale farming operation, Sylvia's Basket, now provides her community with safe, affordable food.
