There is a direct langauge correlation

Nana Miss Lou said brutish say 'I was prickled by a thorn' while Jamaican say "maka juk mi" (lit: thorn pierced me). Another example, we say 'rain a fall' (same in other Kmtyw language), we don't see a concept of non-life or passive object -- that's a aamw concept. This is reflective of the fundamental contrast between their worldview and ours
