Akɔaba, Woezɔ, Oɔbaake (welcome) to another episode of Link Up Podcast, where we connect with Abibifoɔ (Black People) doing Black powerful work across Abibiman (the Black Land) and the diaspora.

In this episode, we Link Up with Baba Kweku (Jeff) and Ɛna Yaa (Lenore) — The Scotts — a specBlackular couple raised in Philly, met at Lincoln University, married and continue to grow a Black family. They take us through their upbringing, experiences in predominately Black neighborhoods, learning of their ancestry, raising Black children and participating in various community projects together.

We discuss their move from Philly to New Jersey, and preparation towards repatriation. Along the lines, we learn about the work and travel they've done while coaching a track team that has produced Olympians, as well as their Journey to the Blackland with their adult children and grandson, preparing the next generation with passports and dual citizenship, growing food, joining the Abibitumi/Repatriate to Ghana (R2GH) community, and why returning home works best when we build together instead of trying to do it alone.

This is a conversation about raised consciousness becoming raised behavior, Black love as institution, and the work required to bring the whole family Black home.
