The band performed over a 40-year span with only one personnel change.

IKESIMA BROWN who is regarded as the Niger Delta Queen of Highlife performed live on stage.
IKESIMA BROWN is often referred to as the "lady with the golden voice" she is with the musical band of Chief Barrister S. Smooth (A.K.A THE PADDLE OF NIGER DELTA) as she did this wonderful live performance in Polobubor town, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State during the social dance of Late Chief R.A Pablogba.
The Niger Delta queen of Highlife ( IKESIMA BROWN ) entertained us in kalabari Ijaw dialect.
