Burkina Faso's President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, revealed ongoing attempts to destabilise his government. These efforts include disinformation campaigns, economic sabotage, and plots of assassination,
targeting both him and his administration. This discussion explores the broader implications of these destabilisation attempts and the resilience of the Sahel governments in maintaining regional stability.
We reported a few weeks back that details had emerged about Ukraine's involvement with
militant groups in Africa. In response, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger—members of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES)—have jointly addressed the UN Security Council, urging action against Ukraine for supporting terrorism in the Sahel.

Description: Scholars Dr. Julius Garvey and Robin Walker with Dr Joyce King, discuss dynamic methods and modulates to best take Black Education and Studies forward, at multiple levels, including the Academic and Community level. Dr Joyce King gives a beauty example of this, recanting when a Brazilian friend and academic on a tour of Egypt they both took together, discovered and observed that the historic place name where an iconic Ancient Temple was located, called ‘Dendera’ bore many similarities to the name of the Palmares Legend and wife of King Zumbi, the iconic Afro Brazilian freedom fighter called ‘Dandara’( the spelling is slightly different, but the pronunciation from the locals was reminiscent ). Something that someone with a different cultural background might not have picked up so easily. We always talk about how Europeans enslaved immense numbers of Africans. We usually don't talk about the parties actually involved or not involved in that slave trade. What we also don't talk about are other slave trades that were even bigger and lasted longer, like the Eastern (Islamic) Slave Trade.
Western media choose selective moral outrage, and while Western schools teach their youth about their own faults, the Islamic World is far from being honest. Therefore I choose to talk about this dark history, and I hope to spread more awareness so that more and more people can know and talk about the cruelties of the Islamic world.
