Before the Berlin conference of 1885,
Afrika was the only land mass as a whole that was not violated and was essentially ignored by white Europeans men. (Yes, as Afrikan people we have been the most violated, abused, spit on, dragged through the mud, neglected, unprotected race of people on the planet). But Afrika as a continent, Afrika as a land mass was not really controlled by white Europeans men, it was essentially ignored. White European men were mostly concentrated on the coastlines of Afrika. Before the Berlin conference, Afrikan Kings, Chiefs, owned 90% of Afrikan land mass. After The Berlin conference, everything changed.
