Carlos A. Cooks was born in the Dominican Republic on June 23, 1913 to James Henry Cooks and Alice Cooks, who were originally from the neighboring island of St. Martin. His education took place mostly in Santo Domingo until moving to New York in 1929 where he went on to higher learning. Cooks was known for his love of sports and his expertise in boxing. His intellect was recognized from an early age and he attended the leadership school in the Voodoo Sacré Society. Cooks' involvement in the UNIA comes as no surprise as both his uncle and father were among the many St. Martiners who were members of the Marcus Garvey-led organization. He was a key link in the history of Black American nationalism between Marcus Garvey before him and Malcolm X, whom he influenced. Carlos Cooks administered the Advance Division of the UNIA after Marcus Garvey was deported. He founded the African Nationalist Pioneer Movement. He died in Harlem, New York, on May 5, 1966. He died at age 53.

If hitler killed people of color...jews and whites...those are 3 groups that have undermined Blacks Independence movements even using murder against Blacks trying to fight the very colonialism that plagues African today.

In Senegal’s Four Communes, mixed-race elites were granted French citizenship and used to buffer colonial rule. They could vote, own property, and serve in colonial administration—while Black Africans remained “subjects.”

In Dahomey and the Gold Coast, colonial powers often elevated mixed-race individuals to administrative roles, using them to enforce taxation, land seizure, and cultural erasure.

Mixed-race Germans—especially those born of African soldiers and German women—were sterilized not because they were African, but because they symbolized racial betrayal.

These weren’t continental Africans—they were racial intermediaries, used by colonial powers (like France) to occupy and humiliate Germany.

Hitler’s rage wasn’t just about race—it was about symbolic contamination. Mixed people were proof of empire’s collapse, and he treated them as biological threats.
