Ohemaa Amanirenas is a famous Nubian-Kushite-Kmtic Ohemaa and Empress from the Kingdom of Kush, in modern day Sudan and South Sudan.

She ruled during the 1st century BCE, during a time of conflict with the foreign invasion of the Roman Empire.

Ohemaa Amanirenas is best known for leading the Kushite army in a series of successful military campaigns against the Romans in what is known as the Roman-Kushite War. She is credited with re-establishing Kushite control over the region of Lower Nubia (northern Nubia), which had been conquered by the Romans.
