Since the end of Apartheid, hundreds of African Americans have moved to South Africa for opportunity to participate in one of the worlds youngest democracies. The country offers a variety of landscapes which include major metropolitan cities to safaris. The relatively cheap cost of living and the opportunity to be in the majority, has made South Africa the homebase for African Americans looking to live on the continent.
