AHSA hosted its 52nd annual conference in July-Aug, 2021 and was a partner for PANAFEST and the 2021 PANAFEST Three (3) day Colloquium in Ghana. The Pan African Festival (PANAFEST) Foundation, AHSA and University of Cape Coast met virtually and on ground to explore issues affecting the Black Family, Youth, Pan Africanism and African liberation. This video captures a keynote discussion on the significance and legacy of historian, Pan Africanist and Jegna Dr. John Henrik Clarke. His importance in shaping African history, identity, culture knowledge production are highlighted and leader in institutional building, including that of the African Heritage Studies Association (AHSA).
