⁣Pan-Abibiwiase (Black World) musical collaboration when the marimba meets the balafon, and Abibifoɔ across the ocean re-connect. The marimba is from Abibiman developed in 'colombia' by Abibifoɔ and the main instrument of the Black genre from the southern hemisphere called Currulao. The balafon is an ancient Abibiman instrument heavily found in the present day countries of the ancient Mali empire, such as Senegal as represented here. Currulao players have theorized the marimba is a descendant of the balafon, reconstructed in the Choco rainforest of the Southern hemisphere from the memory ⁣Abibifoɔ had of back home. The marimba player is Hugo Candelario, from Guapi, Cauca, and one of the country's best marimba players.
