Great discussion. I find it interesting the influence the Afrikan from the so called Caribbean played during those times…Nana Hubert Harrison, Nana Marcus Garvey among others and the differences with say Nana Booker T Washington and Nana WEB Dubois Harold Cruse’s work The Crisis of the Negro Intellectual goes into this era well.

W.E.B. DuBois is not Black/Afrikan. Our ancestors did not phenotypically look like W.E.B DuBois. DuBois is a biracial/mulatto/multi racial person who hi-jacked the true meaning of Pan-Afrikanism.

Abibifahodie! I am interested in hearing about these great Black intellectuals and what they actually did for Black people. I did learn the other day that W.E.B. Dubois did vote for Woodrow Wilson yet he is celebrated in our community.
