In History

In this enlightening documentary, we embark on a journey through time to uncover the hidden history of Yahweh, the God of the Bible, as perceived by his ancient worshippers. Our exploration is rooted in the groundbreaking research of Francesca Stavrakopoulou, as presented in her seminal work "God: An Anatomy." Delving deep into the ancient Near Eastern context, we reveal a startling reality: Yahweh, once part of a larger divine family, was not always the solitary figure we recognize today.

We explore the fascinating, yet lesser-known aspects of Yahweh's identity – his relationship with his father El, his consort Asherah, and his position within a broader pantheon of deities. This documentary challenges conventional views, shedding light on the transformation of Yahweh from a member of a divine assembly to the sole omnipotent deity of later monotheistic traditions.

Prepare to be astonished as we unravel the intricate tapestry of ancient beliefs, rituals, and theological evolutions. This is a must-watch for those seeking to understand the complex origins and evolution of one of the world's most influential deities. Whether you're a scholar, a student of history, or simply curious, this documentary promises to be a revelatory and thought-provoking experience, opening eyes to a dimension of biblical history seldom discussed in mainstream discourse.

Yahweh, the god of IsraEl, the god of the Jews had a wife, Asherah, before the Jewish Hebrew biblical writers erased her from the biblical texts.

Yahweh’s daddy is El.

Yahweh, the god of IsraEl, has a daddy name El.

Yahweh and Baal were merely two of El's 70 children. According to the Israelite Canaanite mythology, each child of El was given a region to look after. Baal ruled over Canaan while Yahweh, fatefully, was assigned the land of IsraEl.

The oldest depiction of male circumcision is on the walls of Classical Kmt dating back around 2345-2181, this is over 4300 years ago. This is before the fictional characters of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, IsraEl.

In Classical Kmt, male circumcision was done on adolescents young men who were being initiated into adulthood and into a secret society.
Today there are still indigenous African societies who still practice male circumcision on adolescents young men who are being initiated into adulthood and young adolescents men who are being initiated into a secret society.

In Ghanian culture it is taboo, forbidden and looked down upon to use your left hand in daily activities, like eating, shaking someone’s hand, waving to someone, giving someone anything like money or a gift. The only time your left hand is used is when you are cleaning yourself after going to the bathroom.
But,
Your right hand is used to receive those things which are good; you should only use your right hand when eating, receiving something, like money or a gift, shaking someone’s hands, waving to someone, etc. Your right hand denotes blessings, your left hand denotes something dirty, negative or sinister.
“In many cultures throughout history and around the world today, like Ghana, the right hand is connected to positive things. The right hand is what people use for eating, shaking a friend’s hand, waving to a friend, it shows someone high social ranking, and you use your right hand even wishing someone for good luck, etc.
On the other hand, the left hand is associated with negative things, such as death, danger, bad luck, and in most culture, both old and new, the left hand is the hand that is used to perform unpleasant tasks, such as cleaning oneself after using the bathroom.”

So the culture of Ghanians using only the left hand for things that are unpleasant and negative has a deep cultural meaning in Ghanaian society.
