On December 4th, 1969, the Black Panther Party’s Illinois Chairman Fred Hampton was murdered by police. But his story is about much more than the raid that took his life. The movement Hampton helped create was unique, and revolutionary.

In the late 1960s, Fred Hampton helped lead a coalition of activists, working across racial lines against a corrupt city government that threatened their communities. At the core of their work were social programs, including free breakfasts, health clinics, and legal aid. Hampton named the group the Rainbow Coalition. And because of their impact, it wasn’t long before they got the attention of the police and the FBI. What followed was an assassination, and a coverup.

"we're not an racist organization" -- more and more I try to move away from saying racism. I see how it reinforces/creates our confusion and, esp, prevents an understanding of functional hatred.

Indeed. That's why it's best that we're Kmy(.y.w) and they're aAm.w just like in the good old days.

Good information. But why the non-Black AI voice as narrator for this (and so many other) videos? That takes away lots of authenticity. Some of the "interviews" of the other videos also seem to have an AI "interviewer." Why can't a real, live Black person walk us through?

crakkkas kill w.e. poses a potential, direct, and/or indirect threat. It is what Hampton, King, Newton, Papa Garvey, Nana Sobukwe -- irrespective of ideologies (even the radical disintegrationist ones) they play the long game. Sometimes, thinking out loud, we can miss forest for the trees when we confusion starting point, trajectory/direction, bus stop, and destination.
