The films are in. FilmFreeway now marks entries closed for the Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival 2026, shifting attention toward the official October 16–18 festival dates.

The current listing describes online screenings across multiple film and media forms together with an in-person Gala and Awards gathering in Accra. The theme, Kemet for the Kemetyu: At Home and Abroad, centers repatriation, Revolution, Reclamation, Restoration, and Retribution.

AbibitumiTV is part of the infrastructure that allows Black-centered moving images and discussion to travel across borders. Now the audience must prepare to watch, respond, support filmmakers, and keep the strongest work moving after the festival.
