Bringing people to Africa is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. For me, it has everything to do with exposure. Whether someone descends from Africa or not, the exposure to the continent makes all of the difference. The first hand experience with the cultures, the people and the history enlightens in a way a book or video can’t do.

We meet them at a pivotal stage in their lives and follow their fate as they strive to fulfil their biological destiny. It may be from the moment they are born, from the moment they are forced out of their family or from the moment they make a play to become a leader. But all will create a dynasty.

A critical, historical analysis of the politics of Afrika, where populist, progressive leaders (prophets) and governments are assassinated and toppled and replaced with agents (puppets) of European and American imperialism (aka neo-colonialism) to promote and protect their interest.

Bro Ldr and special guests will also challenge us with the question:
"How long shall they kill our prophets while we stand aside and look".

#Patrice Lumumba #AfricanLiberation #Pan-AfricanismMovement #FightAgainstColonialism. "This has to be one of the greatest ever presentations on YouTube.....ever!" Learn how "the cancer of betrayal." as Amilcar Cabral called it, still permeates Africa to the detriment of all Africans everywhere!!!

We owe a great debt to our revolutionary freedom fighters. All Africans need to watch this presentation and learn of the sacrifices that were made for our freedom. This is certainly one of the most moving and heart wrenching presentations that I have watched, but they lived it we can at least watch it, learn from it and share it lessons.

The Battle of Isandlwana on 22 January 1879 was the first major encounter in the Anglo-Zulu War between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom. Eleven days after the British commenced their invasion of Zululand in South Africa, a Zulu force of some 20,000 warriors attacked a portion of the British main column consisting of about 1,800 British, colonial and native troops and perhaps 400 civilians.

The Zulus were equipped mainly with the traditional assegai iron spears, iklwa and cow-hide shields, but also had a number of muskets and old rifles though they were not formally trained in their use.

Recorded live in Copenhagen, Denmark, April 1968. Song for My Father was recorded in October 1964 and released on the Blue Note label. The album was inspired by a trip that Silver had made to Brazil. The cover artwork features a photograph of Silver's father, John Tavares Silva, to whom the title song was dedicated. "My mother was of Irish and Negro descent, my father of Portuguese origin", Silver recalls in the liner notes, "He was born on the island of Maio, one of the Cape Verde Islands." The album line-up differs from the Copenhagen musicians here.
