💵 Is Slavery About Green

Remember this is a Black man, Byron Allen, that is married to a white woman. So of course he is going to side-stepped and dismissed that the slave trade and slavery was about racism—Black and white.
He is saying that to make his white wife feel safe and comfortable around Black people and not feel ashamed for being white.

Yes. Slavery and the slave trade was about racism. But was it also about money-Green-, yes. But racism was the driving force, the machine, the engine that drove for the Transatlantic Slave Trade, slavery and colonization. European enslavers, imperialists and colonialists produced papal bulls, laws and decrees with the Catholic Church, The Church, and produced Black Codes, to justify slavery, because they claimed African people were mark with sin of having Black skin, so it was justified for white people to enslaved African people-The Curse of Ham. And some even stated African people don’t have any history or civilization so we need to enslaved them and colonized them so we can civilized them.
Byron Allen is a very intelligent Black man. A billionaire. And for him to say that slavery was not based on racism, let me know he is being very ingenuous.
He is trying to protect his white wife, his white family, his white friends and his white investors.
Black people like Byron Allen are very dangerous to the Black Community.
Byron Allen has resources, wealth and he is someone who has influence in society, so a lot of Black people are going to believe him and take him at his words. But in actuality, he is speaking in half-truths ( yes, slavery was also about money, but it was not the driving force. Racism and anti-Blackness were). He is mixing in truth with lies in his rhetoric about slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade.
