Kilimo Hai - Going Organic in East Africa - Tanzania & Kenya

How three smallholder farmers in Tanzania and Kenya escaped poverty, hunger and diminishing yields through learning organic farming practices.

The Kilimo Hai documentary was commissioned by IFOAM within the scope of the "Regional cooperation for organic standards and certification capacity in East Africa Project" with support from Swedish development cooperation.

Produced by Maweni Farm, Tanzania, in collaboration with the national organic agriculture movements in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda.
