The gospels, comprising the first four books of the Christian New Testament, serve as the primary source of information about the life of Jesus. Their reliability is often attributed to the assumption that they were written by eyewitnesses.

But, who actually wrote the gospels, and how do we know? Let’s find out together…

Mark is the first and oldest gospel to be written in the Christian bible.
The oldest physical manuscript that biblical scholars have of the gospel of Mark that dates from 2nd century CE to 5th century CE, the first 400 years of Christianity, don’t have the last verses of when Jesus appears to his disciples. The last verses of Mark 16:9-20 of Jesus resurrection is not in the oldest physical manuscript of the gospel of Mark in the Christian bible. Mark 16:9-20 was added into the gospel of Mark by Christian monks and scribes after the 5th century of the common era.
In the oldest gospel of the Christian Bible, which is the gospel according to Mark, Jesus disciples never sees him being resurrected.
An angel appears to Mary and tells her that Jesus has resurrected. Does it. That is how the oldest gospel in the Christian bible ends. No one saw Jesus resurrect from death, not even his disciples, in the first and oldest physical manuscript of the life of Jesus, which is the gospel according to Mark. This is why the gospel of Matthew was written to cover-up the mistake the gospel of Mark; and later on after the 5th century CE, the Christian monks and scribes added their own resurrection story of Mark 16:9-20 to the gospel of Mark.

Mark is the first gospel in the Christian bible to be write about Jesus.
But in the Christian bible they put Matthew first to deceive its audience that Matthew is the first gospel written and not Mark. They put the gospel of Matthew in front of the Christian bible, to deceive its audience to believe that Matthew was written first and not Mark.
Mark is the oldest.
Mark is the first and oldest gospel to be written. Then Matthew, Luke, and John.

Paul is the first person to write anything about Jesus.
Next it was Mark, not Matthew. The gospel of Mark was written 10-15 years before Matthew. Mark is the oldest of the four canonical gospels in the Christian bible.

The names Matthew, Mark, Luke, John was assigned to the four gospels of the Christian bible was assigned generations after it was written.
All four gospels of the Christian bible was written generations after the time it says it happened.
All four gospels of the Christian bible was based on the gospel Mark. Mark was the first gospel to be written, then Matthew, Luke, then John.
