Bla Xit Family, we have had many inquiries about Medium and Large investment opportunities in Realty and Property pre development. So in answer to your questions we went to see the Amb****ador at Large for Investment and Business for The Republic of the Gambia Mr Modou Lamin Sima. He was so accommodating and wonderful even offering us a sumptuous feast of my favorite Gambian food including Findi. He told us about some project but the one that interested us the most was his very own one. We went to Kairaba Avenue, Westfields an excellent location in the heart of a business center that is central to every facility beaches and commercial business and banks. It is off the main road and close to a local stadium used by local people. He plans to build an apartment block housing 32 rooms with a potential expansion opportunity it has mainly 2 bedroom apartments and 3 single rooms . Each apartment will be fully furnished and will have a Living room with TV and two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms, with air conditioning, Wifi etc. And investment opportunity including commercial business opportunities below including a mini market and restaurant and laundry facility. This is an brilliant opportunity to have a place to stay and a great investment at the same time.

The Danube, one of the most remarkable rivers in Europe, contains many secrets. Not just underwater, but also along its course through Austria. In one small section of in Lower Austria the body of water has an infl uence on the surrounding landscape, which has even formed its own microclimate. One speaks of so-called "heat islands" with temperatures that reach nearly Mediterranean levels. Human beings have created a cultural landscape oriented to viticulture over a period of millennia. This is because the warm loess and clay soil promotes the flourishing of grapevines. However, not only crop plants grow there: since primeval times, flora and fauna have settled here that have no rival in Europe. They are all species that live on the slopes of the Danube mainly due to the mild temperatures, and which are often found nowhere else. This documentary follows in the tracks of the widest variety of creatures in the Mediterranean section of the Danube. Among others, the largest lizar, the largest snake in Central Europe, the western green lizard and the Aesculapian snake will be encountered; the audience is invited to take part in the family life of ground squirrels, learn that the heat islands even have their own local species of scorpion, and encounter the praying mantis, the saga pedo or the wasp spider. However, not only the animal kingdom is fascinating. Many fi eld orchids, which are threatened with extinction almost everywhere else, find a final refuge on the slopes of the Wachau Valley. The most colourful European bird, the bee-eater, still broods here in the last remaining colonies. The entire region was named a World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site in 2000.

Museums have long been unwelcoming or intimidating spaces for many, particularly ordinary Africans. In this powerful talk, Kwame Akoto Bamfo reimagines the museum experience through the lens of African heritage and community engagement. By embracing change as a constant force, Kwame demonstrates how interactive art and inclusive spaces can serve as healing, dialogue, and transformation mediums.

Through his work, he challenges traditional perceptions of museums and invites communities to reconnect with their identity and heritage. This talk is a compelling exploration of how art can celebrate cultural freedom and inspire others to embrace their role in shaping change narratives. Kwame Akoto-Bamfo is a Ghanaian sculptor, educator, and activist renowned for his dedication to preserving African history and promoting restorative justice through art. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in painting and sculpture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

His seminal work, the Nkyinkyim Installation, is an evolving art project comprising over 1,500 portraits of Africans in the diaspora. This installation pays homage to the victims of the Transatlantic slave trade and is prominently featured at the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama.

In 2017, Akoto-Bamfo gained international attention with his "Faux-Reedom" exhibition, which featured 1,200 sculpted heads representing Ghana's enslaved ancestors. This powerful display questioned Ghana's independence and highlighted neo-colonial legacies.

Beyond his installations, Akoto-Bamfo actively participates in public speaking, research, and lectures, focusing on archiving and promoting African history and cultural heritage. His work has been featured in various documentaries and miniseries, including "Enslaved" (2020) and "The Art of Healing" (2022).

His contributions to art and activism have earned him several accolades, such as the GUBA Influential Artist of the Year in 2019 and the inaugural Kuenyehia Prize for Contemporary Art.

Through his art, Kwame Akoto-Bamfo continues challenging historical narratives, fostering healing, and inspiring restorative justice across the African diaspora. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx

PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL! Be inspired and share in your networks - also private and public screenings are highly welcome. Guidance and itection to all

Description:
“Through its inside, personal and genuine view on the movement the documentary aims to inspire people worldwide on a more sustainable lifestyle embedded in the context of Rastafari.”

The documentary film “Rastafari as a sustainable Lifestyle: Messages from Jamaica” aims to show an in-depth inside view on how the philosophy of Rastafari offers a sustainable lifestyle. The need for a sustainable lifestyle is as global as the movement’s principles of “equal rights and justice for all”. Due to the movement’s global spread (particularly through Reggae) and influence (particularly on Africa and marginalized people), there is a lot of potential in convincing more and more people to live more sustainable and to educate them about sustainability.
The film tries in every aspect to be of anthropological nature: At no time, ‘outside’ voices on Rastafari about Rastafari can be heard. Instead, only the inside perspectives from people of the movement are expressed. Also, the film is inspired by Rastafari, and therefore it is supposed to not only entertain, but educate! It therefore merges into a piece of ‘EDUtainment’. The educational part about the need for a sustainable lifestyle gets highlighted through the only non-Rastafari character in the film, Dr. Kevon Rhiney (Geography Department, UWI), who is educating the audience about climate change, it’s drivers, possible projections and behaviors of a more sustainable lifestyle. This lays the foundation for anyone not aware of the seriousness of climate change and the urgent need for people to live more sustainable.
The choice of the rest of the characters in the movie tries to reflect the diversity of the Rastafari movement regarding social background, age and occupation: Amongst others the Social Entrepreneur specialist Dr. Kadamawe Knife (39), Kemetic Yoga teacher Iyabinghi Ashanti Tafari (50), music producer Jamal Layne (23), and Singer Kiddus I (68) all have an urgent concern about mother earth and the future of humanity. Throughout the movie the Rastafari characters ‘reason’ on nature, community, ‘Livity’ - approach to work and life - and the current wrongs of Babylon. At the same time they stand as specific examples of people who live in harmony with nature and who develop sustainable businesses ideas and concepts. By teaching ‘peace, love, and unity’, Rastafari promotes the unification of all people to work together for a balanced world.
