TRAVELLED TO TAMALE GHANA TO LEARN AFRICAN POTTERY FIRING | HOW AFRICAN POTS ARE MADE
In this video, I share with you the steps required in African Pottery Making and firing. I travelled to Tamale Ghana to a small town called Kukuo where a majority of the Ghanaian women make these Ghana pots and sell to the local markets for a living. I hope you enjoy the step by step process used by these women from sifting the clay, to adding, water, kneading, making the pots and then drying and firing the pots.

The racial and geographical origins of the ancient Egyptians have been a mystery since Champollion deciphered the hieroglyphs in 1822. The prevailing consensus is that the ancient Egyptian civilisation was home-grown on the Nile Valley. But new discoveries in the Egyptian Sahara will challenge this consensus, and show that the origins of the pharaohs hark back several thousands of years before the foundation of the dynastic period (c.3000 BC) and, furthermore, that the first 'Egyptians' were from a black Sub-Saharan race coming from the Tibesti mountains in northern Chad some 12,500 years ago. The oldest known 'astronomical' megaliths in the world, those of of Nabta Playa are examined in this presentation.Biog: Born in Egypt in 1948, Robert Bauval, bestselling author of The Orion Mystery (1994), Keeper of Genesis (1996) and three books with best-selling author Graham Hancock (The Message of the Sphinx, Talisman, and The Mars Mystery), and, Black Genesis, (co-authored with US physicist Thomas Brophy). http://www.megalithomania.co.uk/2010dvds.html - Filmed at the Megalithomania Conference in Glastonbury on 8th May 2010 by Nautilus AV Productions for Megalithomania. Jelani Nelson recently completed his doctoral studies in the Theory of Computation group at CSAIL in MIT, where he also completed undergraduate studies in mathematics and computer science (2005), and received an M.Eng. In computer science (2006). Jelani's research has mostly focused on the development of efficient algorithms for massive datasets, and especially algorithms that use little memory and require only a single or few passes over the data (so-called "streaming algorithms"). Based on a novel by Sam Greenlee, The Spook Who Sat by the Door chronicles the exploits of a CIA agent, the only black man in the agency. Tired of being treated as a human showcase for affirmative action, he quits and heads for the inner city where he begins forming an army of "freedom fighters" determined to overthrow the government and vanquish the white oppressors. To do so, they steal a bunch of high-tech weapons from the National Guard and bloody mayhem ensues.

Starting in the 19th century, Brazil's leaders proclaimed the goal of whitening the Brazilian population through Eruopean immigration and the promotion of interracial unions. Added to that, an apparent agenda to lower the numbers of black and brown people through extreme tactics of police and everyday violence and we see a slow diminishing of black families. In this video, the host of the YouTube channel I AM RICARDO K expresses his opinion on the topic.

History documentary on the Mali Cavalry, Knights of Africa! Dive into this period with the book "Griots Tell No Lies".
⁣In this Units of History episode we turn our attention beyon the traditional confines of medieval history to explore the realm of West Africa and in particular the African Knights of the Mali Empire. We begin with a general overview of the region's geography which spans the vast, diverse lands between the Sahrara desert and the Atlantic ocean. We then explore the rise of the Ghana Empire which set the stage for our story. Upon this great power's fall in the 11th century of Medieval Africa, the region would fall into conflict. For a time the Sosso rose as successors. However they would be challenged by the southern Mandinka people. Their clash for the fate of the realm would be decided by the charge of heavy cavalry. But to understand the dynamics of this fight we cover the equipment, training, tactics, and organization of these Knights of Africa.
