Kwame Nkrumah was the leader of Ghana from independence until his deposition by a CIA-back coup d'etat in 1966, as well as one of the principal political and philosophical leaders of the Pan-African movement. While friendly with countries such as the Soviet Union, Nkrumah's Ghana was part of the non-aligned movement, and Nkrumah's political philosophy is typically described as a syncretic mixture of Marxism and traditional African cultural ideas.

While the defeats of socialist experiments in West African countries like Ghana and Guinea-Conakry urge reflection on the successes and failures of these ideologies and movements, Nkrumah remains a key figure in the history and competing ideologies of African liberation movements, and thus he, and Neo-Colonialism: The Last Stage of Imperialism, his most famous work, merit study in order to enrich our understanding of African history.

It is irresponsible and unethical to use Greenbergian working hypotheses in linguistics as replacement labels for historical Afrikan populations.

Anytime you listen to someone using Nilo Saharan, Afro Asiatic, Khoisan, Bantu etc. in the absence of reconstruction and or historical comparative evidence know that you listening to someone who is misinformed at best and a conscious con artist at worst.

These classifications are working hypotheses and are not to be taken as established historical linguistic facts until proven so. Most of these labels are simply areas of linguistic diffusion and have absolutely nothing to do with a genetic relationship.

In this video I compare and contrast Capitalism and the Afrikan Mode of Production.

There are three main takeaways:

Capitalism is absolutely NOT the same thing as commerce
Capitalism is absolutely NOT the same thing as businesses
Capitalism is absolutely NOT the same thing as currencies

Afrikan centered economic systems existed long before capitalism and will continue to exist long after it.

PBS Utah takes a moving and insightful look into the dark chapter of American history, the federal Indian boarding school system. The goal was total assimilation into Anglo civilization at the cost of Native American culture, tradition, and language. The film story starts with pre-history and comes full circle to modern day. Much of the film is told in first person Native American voice by the people who continue to live it.
