Cosmology is the one field in which researchers can—literally—witness the past. The cosmic background radiation, ancient light streaming toward us since the Big Bang, provides a pristine window onto the birth and evolution of the universe. Already, the radiation has been key to confirming an early explosive expansion of space, determining the geometric shape of the universe and identifying seeds that resulted in galaxies. Now, the cosmic background radiation is poised to reveal when the first stars formed, what happened in the fraction of a second after the Big Bang, and the answers to a host of other bold questions about the cosmos. Join Nobel Laureate John Mather and other leading scientists who are leading the way.

The World Science Festival gathers great minds in science and the arts to produce live and digital content that allows a broad general audience to engage with scientific discoveries. Our mission is to cultivate a general public informed by science, inspired by its wonder, convinced of its value, and prepared to engage with its implications for the future.

Agriculture is the main driver of deforestation. We discuss how agroforestry can regenerate our ecosystem with environmentalist Debra Kiliru and small holder farm family Mr & Mrs Agbenoxevi. [a]www.okoforests.com[/a]

We at Oko Forests are committed to adopting and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. For more information please visit [a]www.okoforests.com[/a]

Agroforestry is a land use management system in which trees and shrubs are grown around or among crops or pastureland. It combines shrubs and trees in agricultural and forestry technologies to create more diverse, productive, profitable, healthy, and sustainable land-use systems.

Agroforestry eases the tension between increased food production and environmental problems (soil and land degradation, erosion, water runoff and flooding, loss of biodiversity, breakdown of agroecological function, increased GHG emissions) by harnessing biological nitrogen fixation and agroecosystem diversification.

“#IGrowYourFood” is a part of GoodFood4All” campaign.

There are many things that connect people the world over. Food is one of them. We all have to eat. And, everyone has the right to access affordable, nutritious, good food.

But what about those who grow our food?

Do we know enough about the challenges they face, the work they do and how we can support them?

Then, without farmers, how would we eat?

The “#GoodFood4All” campaign is organized by 25 partners across Europe who have come together in "Make Europe Sustainable for All", a 3-year cross-sectoral project to promote the ambitious implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Notice :

- Lundi : modèles antiques (poètes de la Bible, de la Grèce ou de la Rome antique) ;
- Mardi : poésie médiévale ;
- Mercredi : poètes de la Renaissance ;
- Jeudi : poètes de l'Âge classique et baroque ;
- Vendredi : inspirations étrangères (du Dolce stil novo à la Beat Generation) ;
- Samedi : poètes de la Modernité ;
