This film draws on research funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Research (IFAD) and implemented by a team led by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and including Addis Ababa University, the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), Makerere University, the Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny, and the University of Sussex.

John Anari, Leader of WPLO and Ambassador of ULMWP to the United Nations was silent by Moderator of United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) on April 22th, 2021 at Agenda Item 5 (d): Human rights dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples and the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples.

UN silenced West Papua's voice. In repetition of 2019 when the Permanent Forum for Indigenous Issues shouted across their room to silence the West Papuan speaker Mr John Anario, the United Nations using video broadcast in 2021 has again silenced Mr Anari as he presented West Papua's call for the United Nations to comply with its international legal obligations 27 seconds into their broadcast of his statement.
