Probability is the examination of uncertain processes, but it's useful for far more than games of chance: http://www.gresham.ac.uk/lectu....res-and-events/proba
The modern theory of probability is considered to have begun in 1654 with an exchange of letters between Blaise Pascal and Pierre de Fermat, and has developed since then into the discipline which examines uncertain processes. For example, although on tossing a coin you have no idea whether you will obtain heads or tails we know that if you keep doing it then in the long run it is very likely that the proportion of heads will be close to a half. The lecture will discuss this and other examples of random processes e.g. random walks and Brownian motion.
The transcript and downloadable versions of the lecture are available from the Gresham College website: http://www.gresham.ac.uk/lectu....res-and-events/proba
Gresham College has been giving free public lectures since 1597. This tradition continues today with all of our five or so public lectures a week being made available for free download from our website. There are currently over 1,500 lectures free to access or download from the website.

Spiral Dynamics Integral Theory is a Human Developmental model that encompasses all of human development and consciousness into 8 stages. The model was created by Don E. Beck and Christopher C. Cowan, and is based off the work Clare W. Graves had started. The 8 stages are: Beige, Purple, Red, Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow, and Turquoise. Each stage represents a type of worldview, thought structure, and an overall rationale for decisions being made. Basically, each stage represents a sort of track that consciousness runs through. As one moves up the spiral, they gradually take on a position of higher perspective, and gradually showcase a higher level of concern for all sentient beings. This model is important for one to learn as it represents a sort of roadmap that one follows as they self-develop. If you are into spirituality, improving yourself, improving this world, and raising your awareness, this model is absolutely crucial to learn.

About me
Hello everyone, my name is Wyeth and I originally created this channel to share some insights about life and the universe that I had on psychedelics, and how they can be used to change one’s life for the better. Now, this has evolved into me seeking to dedicate my life to understanding the truth about the nature of reality, the self, and consciousness at the deepest level. Because these subjects deal with the fundamental nature of who we are, I believe knowledge from these fields can be used to help one live a more wholesome and authentic life in all aspects.
I pride myself in taking an anti-dogma approach in my inquiry, therefore I will examine all topics of interest through a variety of lenses. If this of interest to you, I highly suggest you become a Curious Mind by subscribing.
If you wish to get in touch with me, you can send me a DM on Instagram (where I post a lot more content about this stuff), or you can email me.

An Invisible Threat: The Relationship Between Microwave Technology and Health | ENDEVR Documentary
We cannot see the waves, we cannot hear them, we cannot touch them, but they are all around us, invading the air, irradiating our body and the environment. An Invisible Threat looks at the relationship between microwave technology and health, investigating the conflicts of interest among industry representatives, politicians, scientists and consumers that leave us unprotected to the effects of radiation. Wireless networks irradiate microwaves indiscriminately across cities, villages and the countryside of all developed countries. This increasing exposure disturbs the biological processes that are essential for the healthy growth of human beings, animals and plants – it especially affects children and teenagers.
Our investigation delves into three groups: the telecommunications industry (mobile telephone companies, MMF); official organisations (WHO, IARC, ICNIRP) and official scientific reports (BioInitiative, Interphone, CEFALO).

God, they say, is in the details. But could God also be in our frontal lobes? Every culture from the dawn of humankind has imagined planes of existence beyond the reach of our senses, spiritual domains that shape our Earthly experiences. Why do beliefs of the fantastic hold such powerful sway over our species? Is there something in our evolutionary history that points to an answer? Does neuroscience hold the key? Straddling the gap between science and religion, Brian Greene is joined by renowned neuroscientists, anthropologists, and evolutionary biologists, to explore one of the most profound mysteries of our existence.

The rich in Germany been never been as well-off as they are today and assets have never been so unevenly distributed. But who are they? How do they live? And what do they think of their country? A journey into the discreet world of the super-rich.
One percent of Germans own over a quarter of the country's assets, whilst half of the country’s citizens have no assets at all. But while the German media report on the growing poverty in the country on a daily basis, little is known about the super-rich. They keep a very low profile and can walk the streets unrecognized. "Manager Magazin” says there were around 200 billionaires living in Germany in 2018, and their numbers are increasing. The documentary "Top of the World" asks why rich Germans are so unwilling to talk about their wealth. Its author immerses himself in the discreet world of big money and meets financial advisors with 800 years of family tradition behind them and billionaires such as drugstore king Dirk Rossmann and mail-order company heir Michael Otto - as well as a self-made businessmen such as Rainer Schaller. They talk about their notions of money and justice, the origins of their wealth and their fear of social envy.
