Both Twi and Mdw Ntr are base 10 systems, so transfer of knowledge (from Twi to Mdw Ntr) makes the task more familiar. We regularly work using Mdw Ntr glyphs for math, but this is the first time we are formally introducing names of numbers in Mdw Ntr as assisted by Dr. Rkhty Amen's excellent text Mejat Wefa writing the glyphs and the MDC transliterations.

Ama got used to the idea of solving for X using a game found throughout Afrika called ɔware. It was pretty easy for her to transfer calculation skills learned in the game to working out more complex operations. Ama just turned 8 years old last week.
