Since 2009, the militant Islamist group known as Boko Haram has wreaked havoc in northern Nigeria. Instilling terror through bombings, abductions, and beheadings, Boko Haram is fighting to create an Islamic state in the most populous country in Africa.

VICE News traveled to Nigeria to embed with the country's army as it ramped up its fight against Boko Haram, whose rise has caused a state of emergency. As the only journalists on the front line in northern Nigeria, we witnessed the beginning of the largest military insurgency to date.

Physicist Brian Greene takes you on a visual, conceptual, and mathematical exploration of Einstein’s spectacular insights into space, time, and energy. In just 11.5 hours, using nothing more advanced than high school algebra, journey from Einstein’s earliest musings on the speed of light to his startling realization that time can tick at different rates to his revolutionary discovery of the world’s most famous formula, E = mc2.

This is a more in-depth and mathematical version of the WSU Master Class “Space, Time, and Einstein.” https://youtu.be/CKJuC5CUMgU

Sewer systems are essential to modern plumbing. Every time you flush a toilet, use a sink, or take a shower, you create liquid waste of varying chemical makeups that has to be transported and treated. You could just flush it into a septic tank, but these tanks require maintenance and come with a host of other issues when integrated en masse for modern cities. We have to manage our waste because it stinks, it contains deadly bacteria, and it has dangerous chemicals that could affect the environment.

You probably know that wastewater gets treated at a wastewater treatment plant, but let's take a look at how it gets there: sewer systems.
