Dr. Kwaw "Andreas Woods" Imana - valedictorian at Morehouse back in 2000 - beautifully articulating his reasons for rejecting the Rhodes Scholarship. He rejected Cecil Rhodes, the shame of the Rhodes Scholarship and he also rejected the Rhodes Scholarship for himself as the historical record attests (and which is known to me as I know him personally). He got a 4.0 majoring in mathematics and went on to become the first Black man in the history of the US to get a PhD in Egyptology focusing on a Demotic text. He now teaches Mdw Ntr (Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs), among other subjects, at Howard University.
He spoke right before Nima Warfield -- Morehouse College's first Rhodes Scholar who received the Rhodes Scholarship previously in 1994 -- who had come to the 2000 graduation to deliver a speech. Imana's speech caused Warfield to have to ditch his prepared speech altogether out of embarrassment.

When you ask many people, who taught know thyself first, you will get thousands and thousands of answers pointing to European Greek Philosophers. Then they point to the temple of Delphi where they say it is etched on stone! In all Honest Who coined the phrase know thyself?
Does it Matter? What do you benefit from it?
Africans were already civilised to the highest point hundreds of millions of years before European ancestors crawled on the earth. Would such an advanced society fail to think Philosophically? Black people were the only literate and civilised people in antiquity. If you do not point such timelines to the Greeks and others, they will steal everything! "Know thyself" is an ancient African precept, from the Temple of Luxor actually Wazoti. It was appropriated by a number of pre-Socratic Greek writers, whose thinking was heavily influenced by Egyptian civilisation; and afterwards, most famously, adopted by Plato, in several of his Socratic dialogues. Over two thousand years this African precept was borrowed without acknowledgment is now said to be of Greek origins. Find the benefits of knowing thyself and Re-claim YOUR Heritage from cultural thieves, then use it to Actualize yourself and
Transcend yourself so as to UNLEASH Your Potential in Creativity and Full Living.
Here is How…. skeleton with scythe, the inscription "gnothi seauton"— know thyself—is in Greek.

The Kemetic Roots of West Afrika
This video provides a breakdown of the Kemetic ancestral roots of contemporary West Afrikan populations using a multidisciplinary evidence based approach. Some of the fields of analysis include:
Historical Linguistics
Historical Archeology
Genetics
Structural Systems etc.
The ancestry of the Igbo, Yoruba, Wolof and Akan is discussed refuting the notion that the Afrikology subfields of Kemetology and Nubiology are the Hamitic hypothesis painted black. In reality scholars within these disciplines spearheaded the effort to defeat Hamiticism, especially at the Cairo Symposium of 1974.

In an exclusive interview with BBC Africa, Zambia's new President, Hakainde Hichilema, said his government is discovering "horrifying" amounts of money being stolen. He added that his government would show "zero tolerance" towards corruption, and would get to the bottom of what he called the illicit movement of funds very soon.
President Hichilema also revealed that he planned to change the country’s constitution to allow more women into politics.
Hakainde Hichelema, who was sworn in a week ago, outlined his plans for devolution to communities, to ensure funds are decentralised to allow them to set their own priorities. Talks have also been taking place with Chinese entities as the full scale of the country's debt burden is revealed.

As part of showcasing and promoting Kantanka vehicles, their features, and the unique benefits they offer, Nana Kwadwo Safo interviews a proud owner who has been driving the Kantanka Obrempong for months.
Footage aired on C-SPAN (amazingly enough!) in 2005.
Howard University did issue this statement since it rented out space for the panel discussion that took place on October 14, 2005, shown in the video: http://www.law.howard.edu/852

Information on this man and his beliefs
Kamau Kambon was a radical black professor who called for the extermination of the white race. As an African Studies Professor, he taught at North Carolina State University since 2003, primarily focusing on a number of Afrocentric courses.
Kambon is the owner since 1994 of "Blacknificent Books", which sells Afrocentric material.
His Call for Genocide
"The problem on the planet is white people ... We have to exterminate white people off the face of the planet, to solve this problem." These were Kambon's words during his address to a panel on "Hurricane Katrina Media Coverage" late in 2005. His 10-minute speech aired uninterrupted on the cable television network C-SPAN.
Its only non-Internet exposure came from its mention on minor political-dissident radio, such as Republic Broadcasting Network.

His wife, mentioned in this video, is Mawiya Kambon, Ph.D., who served 1999-2000 as president for the Association of Black Psychologists where they publish their "findings" in the Journal of Black Psychology. For the record.
