Trump's proposed new travel ban would significantly restrict or prohibit entry to the United States for people from 43 countries. This travel ban poses a threat to second citizenship (i.e. dual citizenship). It poses a threat and targets multiple countries that are "friendly" to African Americans for travel, retirement, and investment. This ban includes four of the five Caribbean citizenship by investment countries and several other countries with programs offering citizenship to African Americans such as Burkina Faso, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Benin, and many more.
