This song was made by Habib Koite, a famous singer from Mali, a north western country in Africa.
In Mandingo language, we call SIRA the first born daughter in the family. SIRA as well as each member of the family has an important role to play. She is the one showing the good exemple to the young ones, and her brothers and sisters education rely on her own somehow.
In this song, Habib Koite pays tribute to the SIRA (first daughters) and sing their love, their kindness, in order to show them their importance and incite them to even do better.
Do not forget to subscribe for more beautifull African song.

⁣I wrote this song 'We Got The Power' for my people to always remember the power we have within. This song gave me goosebumps while I was writing it because it even shifted something inside of me. It reminded me I am powerful and I have life, therefore I am worthy of everything life has to offer. For those who have faced discrimination, racism, prejudice, disrespect, judgement, self doubt and a suffer from a lack of self worth. This is for all of the Genocide going on in the world and to shine light on the injustices. It's time to shine light on a world that is getting vibrationally too low. Remember YOU always had the Power within. It's time for a change.

⁣Burkina Faso is on the verge of hitting a significant milestone. While President Traore has done so much to destroy French imperialist influence over Burkina Faso, the issue of the CFA Franc still remains. This colonial relic has for decades stunted the financial and monetary independence of Francophone Africa. However recent news indicates that Traore is on the verge of achieving true monetary independence for Burkina Faso. In a recent report, Burkina Faso is in the process of creating a new currency which they have named SIRA. Unlike the CFA Franc, SIRA will be fully controlled by the Burkinabe authorities.

In a thought-provoking interview, a French professor delves into the complex dynamics of global geopolitics, exploring why and how Western powers may not genuinely support the development of African nations. The professor argues that there are economic and strategic interests at play that could be at odds with Africa's progress. He suggests that Western countries benefit from maintaining a status quo where African countries remain dependent on exporting raw materials rather than developing their own industries. By keeping Africa in a state of economic vulnerability, the professor contends, Western nations can continue to secure cheap resources while selling their own manufactured goods back to the continent, thus preserving a system that favors them. This interview sheds light on the intricacies of international relations and raises important questions about the true intentions behind foreign aid and economic policies.
