ABOUT

Dr. Okunini Ọbádélé Kambon, is a scholar, linguist, and activist deeply engaged in African studies, African languages, and the African diaspora's liberation movements. He is well-known for his work in advocating for African cultural retention, reclamation, and the decolonization of African minds and societies.

Dr. Kambon completed his PhD in Linguistics at the University of Ghana, where his research focused on the Akan language and its implications for African identity and consciousness. His academic work often explores themes related to African spirituality, philosophy, and the psychological impacts of colonialism on African peoples.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Kambon is a vocal advocate for the repatriation of Africans in the diaspora to the African continent and promotes the idea of African people worldwide reconnecting with their cultural roots and heritage. He has been involved in various initiatives and platforms that aim to educate and empower African people about their history, culture, and languages.

Dr. Kambon's dedication to the African liberation movement and his efforts to inspire a global African identity have made him a respected figure among scholars, activists, and communities interested in Africana studies and the well-being of Black people globally.
