Ciente do seu dever como músico, em 1986 faz esforços e cria a casa de música Cantinho do Artista, que serviu de fonte de receitas para muitos artistas. Em 1993, tendo em conta a sua abnegada dedicação à cultura e à gastronomia, funda a feira Avó Kumbi, que posteriormente tomou o nome de Nova Vida e, um pouco depois, de Divórcio.No dia 17 de Setembro de 1997, Manuel Constantino “Nick” foi galardoado pelo então administrador municipal de “Rei da Música Tradicional”, dado o seu empenho pela música e cultura no município do Kilamba Kiaxi. ⁣
