The Mis-Education of the Negro – Carter G. Woodson (Audiobook)

The Mis-Education of the Negro by Dr. Carter G. Woodson is one of the most influential works in Black intellectual history. First published in 1933, this book exposes how colonial and Eurocentric education systems shape Black consciousness, distort self-image, and reinforce psychological dependence.

In this audiobook, Woodson challenges listeners to rethink education, leadership, culture, and liberation—arguing that true freedom begins with mental decolonization and self-knowledge.

This audiobook is shared for educational and historical purposes, supporting African-centered learning, Black political education, and the preservation of revolutionary Black thought.

📘 This audiobook is essential for:
• Students of Black history and education
• Pan-Africanists and cultural organizers
• Educators and lifelong learners
• Anyone seeking to understand systemic indoctrination and liberation

🎧 Listen carefully. This book is not meant to entertain—it is meant to awaken.

Mr. Chuck Penn Interviews historian/scholar and researcher Prof. Manu Ampim about his new book 'A History of African Civilizations' and engages in a wide range of topics including highlights and notables from thousands of years of African history, the ongoing desecration of stolen ancient African artifacts, and how we can reach both youth and elders in teaching a history that's been hidden, co-opted and stolen by others.

The coast of Kenya has a series of impressive medieval ruins. Amongst the monuments are tombs, grand houses, mosques, and palaces. East African archaeologists date the high point of this heritage to the 13th century. The Kenyan museums contain impressive, reconstructed artefacts that animated the urban life of these lost cities.

In this lecture, Robin Walker will present this heritage and put it in its proper place as a powerful chapter in Africa's history.

A lecture by Robin Walker

The way the system is designed is if you work really really hard they will spit out just enough cash to keep you above what I call the Revolution level. Where my way is, you can put out enough transcendent energy to gain wealth and through your wealth make everyone else around you become even richer.

In ‘Unreported World’ we’re in the Congo with a tribe under threat, as the forest they hunt for food in is put off limits to protect the wildlife. The Baka tribe tell us of threats and intimidation by the proposed park’s guards who are part-funded by the World Wildlife Fund.

Ade Adepitan travels deep into the rainforests to see how the Baka are fighting for food. Is the survival of endangered species being put above their own?

WARNING: You may find scenes of
butchered animals upsetting.

"Bahr Belá Má", "Waterless Sea", as the Sahara is called by the Bedouins. But deep beneath the dune fields and stone deserts expands an immeasurable reservoir of water resources. Using enormous technical resources, the Libyans have begun to extract fossil reserves of groundwater. Following oil, water is now arousing a new wave of euphoria. In the present desert climate, reserves are only being partally replaced and what has collected over a period of millions of years may be used up in only a few decades.

In this video we target one of the biggest threats to true Afrikan sovereignty: "domestic violence" or what we more accurately call domestic genocide. We must band together to heal these physical and psychological wounds. Only then can we heal the Afrikan nation.

Full presentation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1GFqTGpvzg

This is the fuller version of the presentation I delivered at the Re-Engaging Pan-Africanism Conference at Birmingham City University, Dec 2018.

The presentation explores the relationship between Culture & Economics as an attempt to:
Rescue "culture" from reductive definitions by demonstrating the relationship between it & economic development.
Demonstrate how revolutionary movements have pursued economic development from a culturally appropriate foundation.
Its pre-recorded, but will be broadcast with a live chat. I look forward to hearing your feedback.
